It’s fixed! №19 + Update

Several improvements for the protection analysis

We continue to work on the popular test firing feature in the hangar. This time we “Fixed” the duplication of some autocannon and missile belts in the shell selection list and added an armour penetration display for individual shells that are not in the belts for individual vehicles that have such a selection possibility.

Improving decoration cards

The collection of vehicle customization items in War Thunder is really huge but not all of them are suitable for different vehicle types. There are tank decorations and ship decorations – the latter are also divided by applicability to coastal and bluewater fleet.

To avoid confusion for you we have added a tag to the decoration cards indicating the vehicle type on which the selected decoration can be used.

Fixed confusion in vehicle slots

This bug occurred in many different ways and affected both vehicles and crews. To describe these cases simply, here is what could happen: the vehicle in the selected slot didn’t change by switching presets, you could get into an air battle not on the selected vehicle and after leaving the battle see the crew data not corresponding to the selected vehicle.

Looks scary, but we found and fixed all the described troubles! Good luck in battle!

Fixed the “Bomber” tutorial for consoles

Each newcomer to the game is offered training when you first meet a new vehicle type, but not every newcomer could pass the “Bomber” tutorial because of the error in it in the console version of War Thunder.

The problem was reproduced only on the new generation of the game consoles and has been already fixed there! Now you can pass and finish the tutorial!

This Space is not for Rent!

You know there is a room in the tank, aircraft and naval part of the hangar for premium vehicles which the game offers based on your preferred battle rank, right? But some players learned how to put other vehicles there even when those vehicles don’t fit into this part of the hangar at all.

Heavy cruiser on the tank trailer is actually a pretty impressive picture, but we decided to put such guests back in place. The bug has been fixed. Thanks for your bug reports!

For this digest we have prepared a large set of useful fixes and game improvements. Be sure to read the full list which we have prepared in the separate changelog – there are many interesting things.
